What does Daschle’s exit mean for Obama Reforms?

As most of you have (hopefully) heard by now, President Obama’s choice for Secretary of Health and Human Services, former Senate Majority Leader, Tom Daschle has withdrawn from nomination amid concerns over his personal income tax returns.   Daschle’s withdrawal comes at a particularly bad time for the Obama Administration, as he is the fourth cabinet appointee to have some kind of tax complications.  Furthermore, Daschle was not only the nominee for HHS, but also the Director of a newly created White House Health Care – Czar, a position he will not hold in light of the recent revelations.  A unique and important position, particularly as The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is progressing in both chambers of Congress.

So the question is, what does Daschle’s departure mean for the Obama Health Care Reforms?
