Supposed outgoing Senator and soon to be Sec. of State Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) introduced legislation that would take steps to address the shortage of health care professionals in New York and the nation. The Health Professional and Primary Care Reinvestment Act of 2008 includes provisions that would help individuals choose health care as a career, guiding them toward the communities most in need and into primary care practices.
